**Don't want to ship your consignment saddle? The Saddle Loft will provide a service to collect your consignment saddle for a small fee!  Pick up and Fee is determined by radius to nearest TSL Saddle Fitter. **

1. Saddle Eligibility  

• The Saddle Loft consigns high-end saddles in good working condition,

2. Consignment Fees  

• We offer competitive rates of 25% of the sale price, or $600, whichever is greater. There are no fees for saddle cleaning; however, if the saddle cover is missing, a $50 fee will be charged.

3. Trial Period  

• All consignments will be trialed for 5 days upon arrival unless a longer trial period is agreed upon in advance. During this time, we will keep the consignor updated on status, offers, and questions. If desired, the consignor may notify us of their lowest acceptable offer to facilitate prompt sales.

4. Advertising  

• Consignors must remove any online advertisements for the saddle once it has been consigned with us.

5. Insurance & Protection  

• All saddles are covered under The Saddle Loft’s business insurance while in storage and during shipments (pending proper packing). Shipping insurance is also provided. Saddles will be paid for before being shipped to the trial destination.

6. Payment  

• Payments are issued via check or bank transfer (fees incurred) within 5 business days of a successful trial closure. The amount received by the consignor will be sale price minus the 25% consignment fee, along with any applicable shipping and insurance costs.

7. Saddle Storage & Care  

• Saddles are stored in a climate-controlled room with designated racks to maintain their shape. Upon arrival, each saddle is cleaned with high-end glycerin and conditioner to maintain its best quality for future owners.

8. Right to Refuse  

• The Saddle Loft reserves the right to refuse any saddle for consignment due to reasons such as high inventory, condition, age, or brand.

9. Liability  

• The consignee is not liable for damage, wear, fire, or theft during the trial period. Any excessive wear will be deducted from the trial’s final amount. If damage occurs, the consignor will still receive the original sale amount, pending any other agreements made.

10. Return of Saddle  

• Consignors must provide at least 5 business days' notice if they wish to remove their saddle from the website or return it.
